Eight players competed in the tenth round of grand melee this year. As per last month, David K was the first player eliminated. After that four player were eliminated together by a giant Fireball from Keith D! That left just three players in the game. Eddie C triumphed for his first win of the year (no, really!). Keith gained two achievements (Soul Reaper and Kingmaker) and rises to third in the rankings. Matthew H receives the Contender achievement for attending his fifth round of the year.

Remember it is the top 8 players who complete in the sealed deck finals at the December meeting. Only current club members are eligible for the finals, and you must also have played 5 rounds or more.

There are five achievements to be won in 2015, and each one is rewarded with a pack from the achievement pool as well as 2 points on the ladder. Each achievement can only be gained once per league year. The achievements available are:

Contender: Play in five or more league rounds in 2015. This achievement also makes you eligible to play in the finals. (Eddie C, Jeremy N, Anthony H, Keith D, David K, Leanne J, Jay N, Adrian R, Jake B, Alexis A, Fraser B, Matthew H)

Soul Reaper: Cause 2 or more opponents to lose 10 or more life in the same turn (Oscar M, Eddie C, Jay N, Keith D)

Legion: Attack with 20 or more creatures in the same turn (Jay N)

League of Legends: Control five or more legendary creatures (each with a different card name) at the same time (Jay N)

Kingmaker: Get 3 or more kills in a round without winning that round (David K, Fraser K, Sue N, Alexis A, Eddie C, Jay N, Anthony H, Keith D)
