
For four years LXG ran the Game of Games event whereby members collected rank buttons for points scored across games played at the club. This wound up in December 2019 and was replaced by the Master Of Gaming initiative.
Like the Game of Games, records are kept of titles played at the club or in club associated events, however only the 1st-placed person’s name is recorded (and witnessed by two players who competed in the same game). When you have won a specific game 10 times you can claim your Master Of Gaming badge for that title.
Obtaining a Master Of Gaming badge takes longer to acquire and, perhaps, is a more meritorious recognition of the skills of an LXG member.
The initiative kicked off in January 2020, and so far we have recognised the following Masters:
