I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year’s, with new games to try out! December 2012 was the website’s best month yet in terms of hits, with over 2,500 page views in the month. By contrast, December 2011 had a little over 700 hits, which was then our second-best month.

The Planeswalker Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, was once again our most popular article. The news of Winter Retreat also rated highly. Christmas is a time of giving, and people were obviously thinking about giving board games. An older article on board games stores in Brisbane was suddenly popular again this month, no doubt reflecting what people were searching for.

A couple of additional planeswalkers, a couple of game reviews also featured well this month. Dystopian Wars showed it is still a popular topic with three articles in the top 15 this month. A previous melee-winning magic deck also took eyeballs, as did the final Game of Games update of the year.
