LXG is putting on a Trivia Competition at its Christmas meeting with categories targeted at all things gamers are interested in.

The competition is open to LXG members and non-members alike. An entry fee of $10 applies to non-members and this includes Christmas lunch (Pizza and other goodies).

In addition the prize pool will be supplemented with a giant Whitman Chocolate sample box and a selection of books. The prizes are to be divided between the winners amicably (or by dice rolling!)

The Trivia Competition will have ten rounds. Each round will be in a specific category (see below). In each round, teams will be handed a list of 10 questions on that category and will have 10 minutes to complete the questions.

Before the competition begins, teams will secretly nominate a category referred to as their ‘Joker’ category. All points scored in a Joker category are doubled.

Highest point scores win the prize pool. Ties will be broken by additional mixed category question sheets. The Referee’s decision on answers is final. Phones and electronic devices are forbidden at tables.
